This notion, contained in the book Tondo come il mondo, formed the basis of the first competition promoted by Fondazione Ambienta and Giunti Progetti Educativi: the classes were asked to develop a book entitled “Libro delle cose tonde come il mondo” using objects, images and materials found in everyday life as a source of inspiration.
9 of the largest Italian cities and related districts were involved, equally divided over the entire national territory: Turin, Novara, Milan, Padua, Bologna, Florence, Rome, Naples, Palermo.
The project involved 415 schools, 2,242 classes, 1,559 teachers, 45,943 students, totalling 142,906 families.
Overall, more than 10% of schools and children from the 9 selected districts joined the project.
