The award-winning workshop for the Tondo come il mondo’s competition, was held on January 16^th, during the school year 2016/2017.

Cristina Gabetti, author of the book, met the award-winning class IV G of the primary school Ribotti in Rome.

The workshop was a good chance to meet the teacher and the class; Cristina took the time to meet with the children to gather feedback on the project and to ask to reflect upon the issues raised, including seasonality, kilometre zero, climate … explaining what the agriculture of the future might look like through interactive videos.

The children participated actively and “attentively” in the conversation for the entire duration of the meeting.

At the end of the workshop, the children were given the chance to visit the vegetable gardens they had developed with support from a grandparent and a few parents.
